2015 June Retreat, Details & Registration Link
Deadline to register online & pay fee: MAY 10th!
(Please read through carefully, as important information is included about the retreat below.)
Welcome one and all to our 2015 June Retreat, located in beautiful Marietta, Ohio! Marietta is a quaint historic town with tons of character, a relaxed river-town atmosphere, unique downtown shopping, and several quilt shops within a 20 mile radius. To find out more about Marietta, click here.
Our retreat will be held in the main conference room of the Best Western Plus, Marietta. Due to the size of the conference room, WE CAN ONLY TAKE 40 RETREATERS. We will have 10 large round tables to work on, each seating 4 retreat guests. If you'd like to bring a small , TV-tray style table to sit beside you for extra working space, feel free to do so. There will also be 2 ironing/cutting stations set up for your convenience. ****VERY IMPORTANT****Due to the limited electrical circuits available at this site, we can have no more than 15 sewing machines running, so it will be first come, first serve for people who will be bringing a sewing machine. My sister, Jenifer Gaston (owner of Woolen Willow Designs and co-owner of Primitive Quilts & Projects Magazine) and I always share a machine when we go to retreats, so that is also an option if you want to do something like that. I will need to carefully keep track of the number of machines so we don't exceed the electrical limit and cause fuses to blow. Because of this, it is important that you register for the retreat with me BEFORE paying your retreat fee and making your room reservations at the hotel. Once I receive your online registration, I will send you an email confirmation (or call you if you have no email), after which you can pay the non-refundable $90 retreat fee and then make your hotel reservations on your own.
